Terms of Service

The service
Targa provides classical, non-LLM anti-spam protection for Telegram groups via the @TargaM1Bot bot, plus a dashboard (web and, where available, native apps) to configure protection and view stats. Targa M1 is free for every group — no cost, no card required, nothing in it gated by payment. Paid products that add AI-grade detection (Targa M2), when generally available, are governed by the plan terms shown at signup/purchase, in addition to these terms.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to create a dashboard account, and you're responsible for the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Connect only Telegram groups you actually administer — connecting a group you don't control, or that you don't have the other admins' consent to protect with a third-party bot, isn't permitted.
Acceptable use
Don't use Targa to harass or surveil members of a group, to evade Telegram's own Terms of Service, to attempt to access data for groups you don't control, or to interfere with the service's operation (scraping, abuse of rate limits, reverse-engineering the detection engine to evade it). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
The private beta
Targa is currently invite-gated. Access, feature availability, and pricing during this period may change without the notice a mature product would give — this is an early-stage service and we'll say so plainly whenever that's relevant, rather than pretend otherwise.
Availability & warranty
The service is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including no warranty that detection will catch all spam or that it won't ever flag a legitimate message. Targa is a defense-in-depth tool, not a guarantee. We aim for high uptime but don't currently commit to a formal SLA on the free tier.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Targa-Praetorian is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including moderation actions taken (or not taken) by the bot in your group. This clause in particular needs real legal drafting for your jurisdiction — treat the sentiment as directionally right, not as enforceable language yet.
Termination
You can stop using Targa at any time by removing the bot from your groups and deleting your dashboard account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the service or other users.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
